I started this website back when I was living on the east coast as an alternative place to document my progress searching out orchids and share my favorite photos. I've since relocated to Colorado, and as such, most updates are now focused in that region, however I still make it back east from time to time. During the winter months my focus shifts to birding - in 2025 I saw 423 species!

I'm using this website as a way to track and share what species of orchids, birds, whatever I've found with a focus on New Jersey and Colorado. To date I've seen 32 species of orchids in New Jersey and 16 in Colorado. You can check out pictures of them with the links to the right.

Looking forward to adding a few more species in 2026 as I work towards finding every species that grows in Colorado!
